Case study
Babonbo
Rent baby gear anywhere you travel. Strollers, car seats, cribs, and more delivered to your hotel or Airbnb in 600+ cities worldwide.
Babonbo is a baby gear rental marketplace for traveling families. Parents pick their destination, choose the equipment they need (stroller, car seat, crib, high chair, baby monitor), and a local provider delivers everything to their hotel, Airbnb, or vacation rental. When the trip is over, the provider picks it up. No dragging heavy gear through airports.
The platform operates in 600+ cities across Europe, North America, and Asia. Families traveling to Rome, Paris, Barcelona, New York, or Bali can rent clean, certified baby equipment from vetted local providers at a fraction of what airlines charge for oversized luggage. Prices start at a few euros per day.
For providers, Babonbo is a business in a box. Local entrepreneurs, baby stores, and rental companies list their inventory, set their prices, and receive bookings directly through the platform. We handle payments, insurance, and customer support so they can focus on service.
I co-founded Babonbo because I saw families at every airport struggling with car seats and strollers. It started as a small operation in Italy, and we grew it into a global marketplace available in 4 languages (English, Italian, Spanish, French). The iOS and Android apps let parents book gear in under two minutes.
Babonbo has been featured in family travel blogs and parenting magazines as one of the best solutions for traveling with a baby or toddler. If you've ever tried to fit a car seat in a taxi at your destination, you know why this exists.
